You can use Bounce Metronome for anything from a basic steady metronome tick all the way up to the most complex rhythms. That includes rhythms with Swing, dance rhythms, polyrhythms and additive rhythms.
The new gravity bounce helps you to play along with the metronome with the most complex and irregular rhythms.
"It's almost like having your own personal conductor for your practice session"
The user interface is extremely user friendly. You will be able to get started with it right away. There's an alternative interface for Blind users - to play all the same rhythms.
Most metronomes can only play rhythms with a steady beat. Also, though they may have visuals that let you see the moment of the tick, the visuals are secondary. You can't use the visuals with the same Precision as the metronome ticks.
Bounce Metronome overcomes this limitation with its innovative Gravity Bounce visuals. This is a technique that was used in early movies when a bouncing ball bounced on the lyrics to help the audience to sing along with the Movie.
The reason this works is that it is very easy to anticipate the moment when a bouncing ball will hit the ground - and sing, play or clap exactly in time with the beats. Conductors also use the same technique - one technique commonly used is to bounce the baton off an "invisible plane". This makes it easy for the orchestra to anticipate the exact moment of the beat so that they can play along in time.
The result is that you can play exactly in time with the metronome purely visually even without the tick. In fact you can switch off the sound for Bounce Metronome and still use it for practice - which can be useful on occasion.
With this innovation it becomes much easier to practise rhythms with swing and irregular beats as it helps you to anticipate the exact moment of the next beat.
That's why it is so suitable for swing rhythms etc. It is like having your own personal conductor to help you keep in time.
